Custom Work

Custom work has always been one of my favorite parts of this studio. Each piece begins with a person — their story, their season of life, their colors, their symbols, their quiet hopes. Some of these pieces were made for grounding, some for celebration, some for gratitude or encouragement. A few were simply made to bring a smile. I don’t share names or personal details, but the heart of each piece lives here as a small glimpse into the kind of work I create when someone invites me into their story.

Stories

Seashell Necklace

A friend brought me a seashell she had found, asking if I could turn it into something she could wear. I built a simple, steady setting around it so the shell could remain the heart of the piece. It became a small, personal talisman — a way for her to keep a beach memory close without altering its shape.

Ohm Bracelet for my Yoga Teacher

I made this bracelet for my yoga teacher, someone who has guided me through breath, grounding, and presence. I chose a simple, steady chain and added Om charms as a nod to the quiet center she helps others find. It was meant to be a small offering of gratitude — something she could wear in her own practice or simply keep close.

Mandala Bracelet for a friend

A close friend was going through a difficult season, and I wanted to make something grounding for him. He’s a Cancer, so I chose stones traditionally associated with steadiness and emotional clarity for that Zodiac sign. I built the mandala around those materials, letting the pattern hold the stones in a way that felt protective but not heavy.

Florida Gator Bracelet with Alligator Clasp

For a dear friend who is a devoted Florida Gators fan, I created a series of bracelets in the team’s colors. One of them featured an alligator clasp I found just for her — a small, sparkling nod to her love of the team. The weave carried the orange and blue in a bold, rhythmic pattern, and the clasp added a touch of personality that made the piece unmistakably hers.

Nebraska Football Crab

Since my husband doesn’t wear jewelry, I made him a Nebraska football crab instead — a playful little sculpture built from beads, wire, and imagination. It carries the team colors and a bit of his personality, and it let me create something just for him in a way that felt true to who he is. It’s one of those pieces that lives on a shelf or a desk and makes you smile every time you see it.

Anchor Necklaces

A friend asked me to create a set of anchor necklaces for a group of women who had been and stayed friends while being Navy dependents. I designed each one to feel steady and symbolic — a small reminder of the strength they had shared with one another. The anchors became a quiet emblem of connection and resilience.

“I Am Enough” Bracelets

For a family reunion, a friend asked me to create a set of “I AM ENOUGH” bracelets for her aunts and nieces. She wanted something they could wear as a reminder of their strength, their history, and the way they hold one another. I built the design to feel both steady and gentle — a weave with quiet structure paired with the message they chose for themselves.

Supportive Pieces for Personal Challenges

Over the years, I’ve made several pieces for people navigating personal challenges — small bracelets or necklaces meant to offer steadiness, comfort, or a reminder of their own strength. Each one was created with the colors or symbols that mattered to them, and with the quiet hope that it might bring a moment of grounding in a difficult time. These stories belong to the people who wear them, but the work remains some of the most meaningful I’ve done.
