Sterling Byzantine chainmaille with iridescent Swarovski donuts in a bright, shifting palette

This bracelet is one of my early Sterling pieces — a 7.5" Byzantine weave hand‑built in .925 Sterling and finished with three Swarovski donuts that shift beautifully in the light. Each donut is 14mm, with yellow multi‑faceted sparkle on one side and a smooth blue‑purple sheen on the other, giving the bracelet two distinct moods depending on how it’s worn.

The chainmaille is woven in classic Byzantine, tight and architectural, with a tiny .925 toggle clasp and a Sterling Figaro safety chain for a clean, secure finish. The bracelet weighs .6 oz, light enough for everyday wear but substantial enough to feel like a true metalwork piece.

This design has a quiet elegance — bright, reflective, and a little playful — with the donuts adding movement and color to the Sterling structure. A lovely mix of craftsmanship and shimmer.
